Education & Experience

Dr. Smith earned his Bachelor’s degree with highest distinction from the University of Virginia before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He went on to serve five years with the National Health Service Corps to care for underserved communities. With over 30 years of experience, he’s spent the last 20 years focused on dentures and implants. Dr. Smith also served for many years as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of General Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, training the next generation of dentists.

home life

Outside the practice, Dr. Smith loves spending time with his three children. As a college football enthusiast, he enjoys settling in on a Saturday to cheer on the Wahoos. Family is at the center of everything he does at home and in the way he cares for his patients.
